David and Rose Pearson of Warwick will celebrate 50 years together on August 22, 2015 at the Brown University Faculty Club in Providence. Dr. Pearson is an emeritus professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Brown University Medical School, and recently retired as medical director of Associates for Adolescent and Family Psychotherapy, located in Warwick. His wife Rose is the founder and creative director of The Writers’ Circle. The anniversary couple will be joined by their children, Christopher Pearson of New York, Rachel Pearson Hines and husband Eric Hines of Medford, Mass., along with their children, Margaret and Benjamin; Victoria Pearson Carter and husband Norman will also be present with their children, Forrest and Fern of Montpelier, Vermont. Joining them will be family and friends from around the United States, arriving Friday evening to enjoy a pre-party sampling of Rhode Island nightlife and entertainment. The couple will be joined in happy matrimony once again on Saturday, Aug. 22 when guests arrive at 4 p.m. to witness Rose and David renew their vows. Dinner and dancing will follow, with music provided by the Brian Mullaney Band. The Faculty Club’s award-winning chef has selected California wines to complement the main course of fresh caught salmon and tenderloin of beef. Topping off dinner is the club’s signature dessert, the “all you can eat” strawberry shortcake. Party-goers will dance until 8 p.m. The following morning friends and family will meet for brunch at the Radisson Hotel before departing from Green State Airport.
