The CLCF 8u baseball team recently captured the Christopher Andreozzi Tournament title at Slater Park in Pawtucket.
CLCF rolled through pool play, defeating Riverside, Burrillville and Warwick Continental to compile a 3-0 record and earn the No. 1 seed heading into the single-elimination playoffs.
It then defeated Smithfield, 4-1, and Warwick Continental by a final of 13-9 to clinch a spot in the championship game.
Facing a 5-1 deficit against Cumberland in that title game, CLCF rallied, scoring 11 runs in the final three innings to secure a 12-6 victory.
The roster included: Aidan Fowler, Alexander Milano, Angelo Pirri, Angelo Silvestri, Brayden Pelagalli, Christopher Barboza, Ethan Souza, Jagger Dion, Joseph Nardolillo, Matthew Petit, Michael Blair, Nicholas DiLorenzo, Peter Grammas, Raymond Capellan and Reece Zarrella.
The coaches were: AJ Pirri, Doug Fowler, Steve Dion, Jon Souza, Ray Silvestri, Mark Pelagalli, Gino DiLorenzo and Craig Zarrella.
