POSSESSION
On January 23 at 1:08 a.m., Officers Machado, Quaranto, Maione, and Merry arrested Micayla Martin, 20, of 381 Wickeden Street in Providence for possession of a Schedule III drug, Suboxone. The arrest was the result of an officer initiated suspicious activity call in the area of 921 Cranston Street. Martin was then held for arraignment.
OBSTRUCTION
Jonathan West, 37, of 4 Old Orchard Drive in Bristol, was arrested on January 23 at 1:08 a.m. by Officers Machado, Quaranto, Maione, and Merry for obstruction of an officer in execution of duty and three Third District Court bench warrants. West’s arrest the result of an officer initiated suspicious activity call in the area of 921 Cranston Street.
On January 20 at 5:12 p.m., Officer Travers arrested Thomas Dilorenzo, 39, of 16 Yeoman Avenue in Cranston for obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and a Family Court body attachment, as a result of a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Cranston and Massachusetts Streets. Dilorenzo was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI on the court warrant.
DRIVING UNDER
THE INFLUENCE
Officers Maione and Quaranto arrested Jesse Cirelli, 26, of 260 Shagbark Road in Taunton, Mass., on January 21 at 1:13 a.m., for driving under the influence, first offense, and duty to stop-damage to an attended vehicle. Cirelli was arrested following a motor vehicle accident at Park and Reservoir Avenues. He was then held for arraignment.
ASSAULT
As a result of a call for service at Cranston Police Headquarters, Officers Leonard and Murray arrested Kylie Durand, 23, of 32 Taft Street in Cranston, for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct on January 20 at 7:42 p.m. Durand was released after being arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
Around 9:30 on January 20, Officer Alfonso arrested Alicia Barnella, 26, of 171 Smith Street, Apt. 5 in Cranston for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct as a result of a warrant from the Cranston Police Department. Barnella was then transported to court.
WARRANT
Officers Murray and Leonard arrested Robert Haney, 40, homeless, on January 19 at 3:19 p.m. for a Superior Court bench warrant. Haney’s arrest is the result of a suspicious person contact on Niantic Avenue and Route 10. He was later transported to the ACI.
DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE
Following a traffic stop on Pontiac Avenue on January 19 at 10:04 a.m., Officer Skodras arrested Daryl Pinto, 43, of 15 Netop Drive in Providence for driving without a license, third offense. He was issued a summons to appear at the Third District Court.
FRAUD
On January 19 at 10:55 a.m., Officer Brown arrested Kyle Lewis, 27, of 122 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Cranston, for obtaining vehicles with intent to defraud. He was then transported to Third District Court.
