As time goes by, people want to see and spend time with the friends they’ve known for a long time, and share many memories and experiences with.

But time, life, work and other circumstances sometimes don’t always allow for frequent get-togethers.

The class had its first reunion in 1964, and from then on, it was every five years. This year, they celebrated their 62-1/2 year reunion.

Realizing that they were hitting a milestone birthday of 80 years, they decided it was a good reason not to wait to get together.

Ann (Ruggieri) Manni was the committee chairperson, and was assisted by Elaine (DeMaio) Palumbo and Ann Volatile.

The 42 graduates gathered at the Cucina Rustica on Friday, Oct. 14 to share memories, pictures, and birthday cake.

Attendees included Carol (Atkins) Dearlove, Henry Bagian, James Bliss, Elaine (Ritz) Cioe, Virginia (Conte) Pacheco, Lorraine (Chiello) Mansolillo, Dolores (Castelli) DelSesto, Angela Castelli, Joseph Ciacciarelli, Marion (Pansera) Crudale, Frank DiLanna, Anthony DiMaio, Sam/Philip Goldberg/Doria, Elaine (DeMaio) Palumbo, Anthony Fuzek, James Ferro, Arlene (Gentile) Mathews, Eleanor (Gallo) Sammartino, Lois (Johnson) Bogda, Kenneth Kurze, Joyce (Lang) DiPippo, Frank Marchetti, Joseph Marriott, Ann (Ruggieri) Manni, Stephen Palmer, Thomas Samson, Bernice (Toti) Pasquazzi, Barbara (Ursini) Palombo, Ann Volatile and Joan (Wadsworth) Dugan.
