Cranston residents Abby Turchetta, left, a sixth grader at Hope Highlands Elementary School and Gabriella Maggiacomo, right, a sixth grader at St. Mary Academy Bay View, were both part of the Bayside FC Bolts Girls U12 team that captured the Rhode Island State Cup Soccer Championship. This is the second year in a row the team has won, and the squad will now represent Rhode Island at the Region 1 U.S. Soccer Championship series in Hershey, Penn., at the end of June.
