On Nov. 22, Pet Supplies Plus in Garden City held its annual holiday pet photos event with Santa, Rudolph and Frosty. Photography was provided by Gene Hutnak Photography, and proceeds directly benefited Animals Depend on People Too Inc. (ADOPT) for the Cranston Animal Shelter as well as pets in need throughout the state. Porcelain snowflake photo ornaments were also available for sale. Above, Frosty the Snowman sits with Sapphire, a five-year-old Siberian husky, and holds a Bengal cat named Wilson. Both are owned by Ron and Debbie Loignon. At left, Santa Claus enjoyed visiting with Brian Lamar’s Beagles, 12-year-old Annie and 11-year-old Hobbs. Hobbs was rescued through ADOPT. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
