The annual Cat’s Alive Cocktail Party, Dinner and Silent Auction fundraiser was held for PawsWatch on Oct. 10 at the Cranston Country Club to support the organization’s work with feral cats in the community. The event drew 177 attendees and raised approximately $20,000. There were 175 silent auction items up for bid during the event, along with a raffle and a table with books, tapes and cat toys. Founded in 1997, PawsWatch provides veterinary care to roughly 2,000 cats across the state each year. Pictured at left are event co-chairs Mary Ladeira and Gil Fletcher at the fundraiser. Pictured at right are Bill Ingram and his wife Mary Kramolowsky bidding on a silent auction item. For more information, contact PawsWatch at cats@pawswatch.org or 401-848-9867.
