One Studio Smooch, located in the lower level of 1263 Oaklawn Ave. in Cranston, will host a gallery opening and reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 1. Exhibited will be works from the Collective Marks Collaborative, featuring selected pieces from each artist. It will be a “show in the abstracts,” featuring mixed media from acrylic painting to monotypes and more.
