Hall Library heats up in July

Summer heats up at the William Hall Library, starting with a performance by 5 Flavor Discount for the Summer Outdoor Concert Series. The show is July 5 at 6:30 p.m. Bring a chair and snacks for this free concert, sponsored by Mayor Allan Fung and the Washington Trust Company.

On July 10, at 6:30 p.m., the outdoor concert series continues with The Toe Jam Puppet Band, an interactive performance. Earlier that day, at 5 p.m., there will be a baby and toddler clothes swap on the lawn of the Hall Library. Bring gently used, washed, folded and sorted clothes to swap.

The Summer Concert series runs through July, with Transmission on July 12 at 6:30 p.m., John Connors and the Irish Express on July 19 at 6:30 p.m., and Tom “T-Bone” Stankus on July 24 at 6:30 p.m.

Also in July, the Hall Library Book Group will discuss Mary Percy Shelley’s “Frankenstein” on July 18 at 6:30 p.m. In the display case will be members of the East Greenwich Art Club, and there will be community tai chi with Phil Goldman on Mondays at 6:30 p.m., as well.
