Lovelace finished in second and third place in two events on Saturday, while also swimming on a first place and a second place relay team, helping East to its second straight Division II title.

"This year we had a feeling we'd be in the running for [the title], so we were a lot more nervous than last year," Lovelace said. "But we came through."
