Amendment to Air Quality Monitoring Work Plan

Pursuant to the provisions of Rhode Island General Laws ยง 1-7-1, et seq., and in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act Chapter 42-35 of the General Laws, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation hereby gives notice of its intent to amend its Air Quality Monitoring Work Plan.

The purpose of this amendment is to establish the new location of the air monitoring equipment located east of T. F. Green Airport.

The proposed rule and concise summary of non-technical amendments are available for public review at www.pvdaiport.com Warwick Public Library, 600 Sandy Lane, Warwick, in person at the Rhode Island Airport Corporation office, 2000 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886, via email request to pfrazier@pvdairport.com or by phone to Peter A. Frazier, General Counsel, at (401) 691-2287.

In the development of the proposed amendment consideration was given to: (1) alternative approaches; (2) overlap or duplication with other statutory and regulatory provisions; and (3) significant economic impact on small business. No alternative approach, duplication, or overlap was identified based upon available information.

All interested parties are invited to submit written or oral comments concerning the proposed regulations on or before the close of comment period, March 25, 2015, to Peter A. A public hearing to consider the proposed amendment shall be held on March 19, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at Mary Brennan Board Room, T. F. Green State Airport, 2000 Post Road, Warwick, R.I., 02886, at which time and place all persons interested therein will be heard. The Corporation Meeting Room is accessible to the handicapped. Those requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify Ms. Sherri Penta at 401-691-2279 or TDD number 401-691-2531 forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the meeting.
