Pastore Foundation holds fundraiser

AMBASSADOR’S CLUB: Members of the Bishop Hendricken High School Ambassador’s Club volunteered their time to assist at the Peter T. Pastore Jr. Charitable Foundation fundraiser on May 7. Peter T. Pastore was an alumni of Hendricken. Pictured are Colton Capobianco, David Fraioli, Aidan Corcoran and Austin Bergeron. They assisted with the sale of raffle tickets and greeting guests at the door.

Proceeds from the event help fulfill the foundation’s mission to mobilize the generous spirit of the community to benefit local youth education, recreational activities and human services.

Since its beginning in 2007, the foundation has donated more than $100,000 to local beneficiaries, including the Cranston YMCA, CLCF Sports, CABINS (Community Against Bullying in Schools), the RI Autism Project, Special Olympics RI and Junior Achievement of RI.
