INDICTED

Last week, the Kent County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Antonio Yanez, 22, of 30 Green St. in Cranston, with two counts of first-degree child molestation, three counts of second-degree child molestation and one count of obstructing a police officer.

The indictment alleges that Yanez sexually molested a person 14 years of age or younger last July and that he knowingly obstructed a police officer. Warwick police conducted the investigation. Yanez will be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on Oct. 24.

SHOPLIFTING

Teta Higgins, 34, of 202 Melrose St. in Providence, was arrested Oct. 12 on a charge of misdemeanor shoplifting as a result of a shoplifting in progress call at K-Mart at 296 Garfield Ave. She was issued a release to appear in District Court.

On Oct. 12, Cranston police arrested Bounche Dorbor, 27, of 445 Public St. in Providence, on a charge of misdemeanor shoplifting as a result of a shoplifting in progress call at K-Mart at 296 Garfield Ave. She was processed and issued a release to appear.

Police arrested Johnasha Thompson, 19, of 161 Wood St. in Providence, on a charge of shoplifting at K-Mart on Oct. 11.

Police arrested Jaquette Alston, 18, of 264 Sayles St. in Providence, on a charge of shoplifting at K-Mart on Oct. 11.

On Oct. 11, police arrested Danielle Derosa, 18, of 2880 Hartford Ave. in Johnston, on charges of simple assault and conspiracy to commit shoplifting as a result of a prior incident at the Stop & Shop on Atwood Avenue on Oct. 6. She was released with a summons.

Police arrested Jacob Seitz, 18, of 2880 Hartford Ave. in Johnston, on Oct. 11 on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy to shoplift as a result of the same incident at Stop & Shop on Oct. 6. He was released with a summons.

Police arrested Angel Pitre, 44, of 610 Union Ave. in Providence, on Oct. 10 on a charge of shoplifting at the CVS on Reservoir Avenue. He was held for arraignment. Police arrested Heather Ballou, 29, also of 610 Union Ave., on the same charge.

SUSPENDED

On Oct. 12, police arrested Joseph Marsella, 39, of 319 Providence St. in West Warwick, on charges of driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and resisting arrest as a result of an attempted car stop on Route 10 at Route 95 South ramp. Police say he lost control of vehicle and crashed and then fled on foot. He was apprehended on Route 95 North. He was held as a bail violator.

DOMESTIC

Police arrested Jon Norman, 32, of 28 Harris Ave. in Cranston, on Oct. 12 on charges of domestic strangulation, domestic simple assault and battery, domestic disorderly conduct and violation of a no-contact order. Police had responded to Rhode Island Hospital, where a female reportedly told officers that Norman had assaulted her at the above address. He was held as probation violator.

Police arrested James Riley, 57, of 10 Angell Ave. in Cranston, on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct as a result of a call to that address on Oct. 11 for a reported larceny. He was held for arraignment.

On Oct. 11, police arrested Terry Bruskie, 28, of 561 Lafayette Road in North Kingstown, on a charge of violating a no-contact order in that town. He was turned over to North Kingstown police.

On Oct. 10, police arrested Michelle Eletu, 38, of 15 Barnsdale Road in Cranston, on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct as a result of a disturbance call. She was arraigned and released.

 

DUI

Police arrested Nicole Pagliarini, 19, of 31 Pinecrest Drive in Scituate, on a charge of driving under the influence following a traffic crash at around 2:35 a.m. on Oct. 11. She was later released with summons to a sober adult.

DISORDERLY

On Oct. 11, police arrested Douglas Cote, 51, of 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston, on a charge of disorderly conduct as a result of a disturbance call. He was held for arraignment.

POSSESSION

Police arrested Brandon Carbone, 21, of 23 Summit Ave. in West Warwick, on a charge of possession of narcotics as a result of an Oct. 10 traffic stop on Garden City Drive. He was held for arraignment.
