The Cranston Herald is sponsoring a public forum for City Council and School Committee candidates next week at the Central Branch of the Cranston Public Library.

The forum will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and will afford candidates an opportunity to provide a brief statement before participating in an organized discussion with members of the public. Daniel Kittredge, editor of the Cranston Herald, will serve as moderator for the event.

For additional information, contact Kittredge at 732-3100, ext. 234 or dank@rhodybeat.com or the library’s Katy Dorchies at 943-9080, ext. 105 or katydorchies@cranstonlibrary.org.
