Cranston residents are the big losers with Col. Marco Palombo’s retirement. His tenure as police chief has been an honest, responsible and productive one, marked by hard work influenced only by integrity. No one, either privately or publicly, has suggested that the chief had anything to do with the ticket fiasco. The mayor’s political ambitions have caused the permanent departure of this dedicated and decorated law enforcement professional. Marco Palombo for Governor.
