The annual Charlie the Butler Ghost Party was held at Sprague Mansion on Oct. 21. It was a full house at the historic mansion, which was hauntingly decorated for Halloween. The yearly event serves as a fundraiser for the Cranston Historical Society, and tours were available for those interested. Tarot readings were also provided by Debb Brown on the third floor of the mansion. Rory Raven, the guest speaker, is the originator of the Providence Ghost Walk and is the author of “Haunted Providence: Strange Tales from the Smallest State.” Refreshments were served through the generosity of Sin Desserts of Providence and Texas Roadhouse.
