Dementia affects the brain with memory loss being its most common, recognizable symptom. Join us for this discussion on dementia and its link to diabetes.

Shred-a-Thon

Wednesday, May 4, noon to 2 p.m.

One of the easiest ways to prevent identity theft is by shredding documents containing personal information. To help with this process, along with the Attorney General’s office we are hosting a “free” “shred-a-thon” event. The truck will be located in the side parking lot. You are allowed two bags/boxes.

Aerobics

Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, 10 a.m.

$3 members/$4 non-members

Our certified aerobics instructor gives a great workout! Come and join this class that is designed especially for older adults.

Bingo

Mondays and Thursdays, 1 p.m.

Did you know bingo improves your mental, physical, and social health? Scientific studies show that playing bingo can have some not so obvious benefits. Although winning is great fun, many people don’t only play to win but also enjoy the excitement and social atmosphere! In addition, recent studies have shown that playing bingo helps your mental speed and memory. Playing the game with friends helps reduce stress and depression, which improves your physical health. So join us on Mondays and Thursdays, and bring a friend!
