Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. It originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials. At the center, a memorial service with a guest speaker will remember not only our veterans but also loved ones we have lost.

Dancing is a great way to not only get your body moving, but also boost heart, mind, and joint health. So join us for a lesson or two or three or more. Our ballroom dancing classes keep our seniors active and social. For more information, call Kathi at 401-780-6216.
