Fat is one of the three major nutrients that our body requires, so eliminating it from our diet isn’t the smartest strategy. Do you know which fats are best? We need to be ready to make informed choices about the fats that we include in our diet, so welcome to “Face the Fats”!

Chronic disease self-management program

Fridays, Aug. 26 to Sept. 30

9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

A free, six-session workshop for those age 60 and older. Participants will learn to manage chronic disease conditions and chronic pain. Information and support to manage chronic diseases is essential to living a better life. Upon successfully completing the program, participants will receive a workbook, a relaxation CD, and a gift certificate. Space is limited. Registration is required. Call 401-780-6000.
