A Victorian Tea was held at Sprague Mansion on April 19 as a fundraiser for the Cranston Historical Society. Approximately 50 people were in attendance. The traditional tea was followed by an informative and entertaining presentation by Patricia Perry, a historical interpreter of 19th-century culture and manners. She is pictured with Gregg and Mary Mierka, the resident managers of the mansion. Miss Michelle was also available to read participants’ futures. As a gift, guests left with their own 24-karat gold-trimmed floral teacup and saucer. A very special seating at the Sprague Dining Table for 10 guests was also available.
