A healthy dose of fun at YMCA

UNHEALTHY CHOICES: Bela Teixeira of the Advocacy and Public Policy Unit of the Tobacco Control Program at the Urban League of RI, was on hand to provide preventative awareness of smoking. There will be a special free community forum about tobacco products marketed towards children at the William Hall Public Library on May 9, beginning at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Bela at 351-5000 ext. 110.
HEALTHY HABITS: During Healthy Kids Day at the Cranston YMCA this past weekend, children were invited to make personalized sun visors and learn more about skin care and protection from the sun, courtesy of Rite Aid.
