Andrews tries to strike out leukemia
A SPECIAL DONATION: Stopping by with a donation of 50 Little Caesars’ Pizzas at the LLS Bowl-a-thon was Gabi Bazzi, president of Little Caesars’. The AMF/Family Cranston Lanes donated time and service under the direction of General Manager Michael Pastore.
A “FUN-RAISER”: On Saturday, April 14, Christine Andrews, a nominee for Woman of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, hosted a bowling fundraiser to benefit the society at AMF Cranston Lanes on Elmwood Ave. Andrews is a senior account executive of ProPointCS and serves as the vice chair of membership for the Cranston Chamber of Commerce. Pictured here are 7-year-old Autumn Lawrence, who is the campaign Girl of the Year; Elizabeth Perry, senior campaign manager for the RI Chapter of LLS; 6-year-old Gavin Larson, Boy of the Year; 5-year-old Alexandra Andrews; and Christine Andrews.
TEAMWORK: It was a joint effort by the friends of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on April 14 at the AMF Cranston Lanes on Elmwood Ave. during a special Bowl-a-thon, organized by Christine Andrews, a nominee for Woman of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Pictured are Michael Pastore, Carol M. Carson, Christine Andrews, John Andrews and Tom Casperson. Andrews is also hosting a golf tournament to benefit LLS on May 6 at the Cranston Country Club with sign-in at 12:30 p.m. and shotgun start at 1:30. The fee is $120 per player.
