Breffny’s is a private function room located in the upper level of Pawtuxet Village’s popular O’Rourke’s Bar & Grill. It is cozy and casual, but also sunny and bright. The room can accommodate up to sixty-five people who can congregate at the bar or around any one of several high tops, but there are also smaller groupings where quieter conversations can be held.

On any given night, the bar’s comfortable stools are crowded with revelers who are raising their glasses to toast a birthday but each night, a different scene will unfold here at Breffny’s. In the light of a new day, a baby shower is being hosted by a soon-to-be grandmother but by the next day, a group of co-workers will have gathered for a relaxing office luncheon.

In the fall, trees will begin to turn gold and deep red as light streams in through windows that separate guests from the waters of Pawtuxet Cove nearby. Soft lights add to the ambience at night while the lights of the nearby harbor and local houses flicker outside. It is a magical scene, any time of day or night.
