BULLY presented by Kaleidoscope Theatre
Bullying and negativity are everywhere in our culture. Children are exposed to bullying both in and out of school and often don't have the tools to cope. Kaleidoscope's award-winning play "BULLY" takes place in an elementary school when six students show up to auditions for the school play "The Wizard of Oz". Through the audition process, they re-enact a variety of bullying situations elementary school children may have encountered at school. A sensitive yet realistic portrayal of situations experienced by the bully, the bullied, and the bystanders, our BULLY program offers viable alternatives and solutions on how to deal and heal.
Usually only available to schools, this public performance allows children and their families from all communities to see the show and learn positive strategies to deal with bullying as the school year begins.
Teachers are invited to attend at no charge with a paid guest. (Please bring teacher credentials)
This show is part of a fall three show series with a season ticket available for $30 for all three shows. All tickets available at kaleidoscopetheatre.com/tickets
