Charles Norris Wedderburn, 66, of Cranston, Rhode Island and Lake Worth, Florida passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on September 15, 2019 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Betty (Hodgkinson) Wedderburn.
He had lived in Cranston for 44 years. Charles had a magnetic personality. Everyone was drawn to him and his influence has spread far and wide. He loved the outdoors, especially working in his beautiful gardens. He also enjoyed spending time with his many friends. He was a wonderful husband, a super father and a warm, loving, proud grandfather.
He was the father of Charles "Chip" William, Benjamin and his wife, Marta (Lage) Weddderburn. He was the proud and loving "Papa" of Ethan Charles and Logan Richard Wedderburn. Charles was born in Kingston Jamaica, the son of Raymond Charles and Evlyn (Hyatt) Wedderburn. He was the grandson of Teresa (Ricketts) Hyatt, all of Jamaica. He leaves behind a brother, Ewart Wedderburn of Jamaica, Ronald Wedderburn of New York, and Melva Wedderburn of Jamaica. He was the brother of the late Paul Wedderburn of Jamaica.
