WARRANT

On April 24 at 10:16 a.m., Officer C. Dempsey arrested Devin Harvey, 51, of 8 Appletree Lane in Johnston, for a Superior Court bench warrant. His arrest is the result of a suspicious person call on Plainfield Pike, and he was transported to Superior Court. Officer Maione arrested Brian Blair, 28, of 5 School St. in Johnston on April 23 at 11:19 p.m. for a Superior Court bench warrant. His arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Atwood Avenue and Plainfield Pike. Blair was later transferred to the ACI intake.

As a result of a call for a motor vehicle accident on April 21 at 11:10 p.m., Officer Troiano arrested Derrick LeBlanc, 36, of 21 Manson Ave. in Warwick for a Superior Court bench warrant. He was then transported to the ACI.

On 4/20/17 at 11:04 p.m., Officer Smith arrested Ronald Anthony Duffy, 60, of 6 Howard Ave. No. 1 for a Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear on a driving without consent of owner case out of East Providence. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the above address, and he was transferred to the ACI Intake. Officer Cragin arrested Tracy Cornell, 49, of 182 Armington St. Apt. 2, in Cranston on April 20 at 6:57 p.m. for a Third District Court bench warrant as a result of a suspicious person call at 198 Chestnut Avenue. He was transported to ACI Intake.

ASSAULT

Following a disturbance call at 19 Bain Street on April 23 at 11:56 p.m. Officers Carrol, D. Dempsey and Sirois arrested Michael Stone, 31, of 9 Bain Street, 3rd Floor for domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of a schedule IV drug (Alprazolam). His arrest is the result of a disturbance call at 19 Bain Street, and he was held for arraignment.

On April 21 at 9:45 a.m. Officer Ricci arrested Traizon Valley, 21, of 125 Westwood Ave. in Cranston, for domestic aggravated assault, domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest is the result of a pick up at the above address for a Cranston Police arrest warrant. Valley was held for arraignment by a justice of the peace.

FALSE PRETENSES

Maribel Dandrade, 31, of 282 Hartford Ave. No. 1 in Providence, was arrested on April 24 at 3:12 p.m. by Officer Smith for obtaining money under false pretenses. Her arrest the result of a Cranston Police Department warrant arrest by the Rhode Island State Police. She was then held for arraignment at court.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS

Officer Merry arrested Israel Withington, 45, of 230 Webster Ave. in Providence for a sex offender address change. His arrest is the result of a Cranston Police arrest warrant, and he was held for arraignment by a justice of the peace.

SHOPLIFTING

On April 20 at 6:28 p.m., Officer Leonard arrested Joseph Granata, 24, of 144 Shirley Blvd., Cranston for shoplifting and contributing to the delinquency of a minor as a result of a larceny complaint at the Garfield Avenue K-Mart. He was arraigned and released by justice of the peace.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Alfred Izzo, 36, of 18 Humbert Ave. in Cranston, for driving under the influence first offense. His arrest is the result of an accident investigation at Park and Reservoir Avenues. He was held overnight awaiting arraignment at Third District Court.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

Following a motor vehicle stop on Chestnut Hill Avenue on April 20 at 1:52 a.m., Officer Mastrati arrested Tabatha Morgan, 28, of 726 Dyer Ave. for driving after suspension of license, a Superior Court bench warrant and Third District Court bench warrant. She was later transported to ACI Women’s Intake.
