ASSAULT

On March 13 at 1:19 a.m., Officer Smith arrested Kayla Magnone, 21, of 56 Hillwood St. for two counts of domestic simple assault and battery, and domestic disorderly conduct. Her arrest is the result of a disturbance at the above location, and she was held overnight to await arraignment at Third District Court.

Paige Stewart, 18, of 30 Robinlyn Drive in Cranston was arrested on March 11 at 4:21 p.m. by Officer Scotti for domestic simple assault and driving without consent of owner. Her arrest is the result of a call for service at 985 Oaklawn Avenue, and she was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 8:33 p.m. on March 9, Officer McCoy arrested Miriam Cosgrove, 51, of 188 Western Promenade in Cranston for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct as the result of a disturbance at the residence. She was held for arraignment.

A service call at 55 Hornbine St. on March 7 at about 11:37 p.m. led to the arrest of Alannah Moosey, 18, of 55 Hornbine St. in Cranston by Officer Henry for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault. She was held for arraignment. DISORDERLY

Tyray McDuffie, 24, of 568 Willow St. Apt. 1 in Woonsocket, and Bryan Weaver, 27, of 2798 East Beersville Road in Bath, Pennsylvania, were arrested on March 12 at 12:30 a.m. by Officer Laquale for disorderly conduct. Their arrests are the result of a call for service at Mardi Gras at 1500 Oaklawn Ave. They were held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.  

On March 11 at 2:51 p.m., Officer Detroia arrested Gary Saporita, 42, of 45 Beckwith St. in Cranston for domestic disorderly conduct after receiving a call for service at the aforementioned address. He was then arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.  

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

On March 11 at 5:43 p.m. Officer Rocchio arrested Nery Saul Gomez Cante, 34, of 219 Illinois Ave., Apt. 2 in Central Falls for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense and driving without a license. Cante’s arrest was the result of a call for service at 921 Cranston St. Cante was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.   Officer Schaffran arrested William Morin, 31, of 244 Spring Street in Farmington New Hampshire on March 11 at 7:33 hours for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test following a call for service at 1215 Park Ave. He was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.   FRAUD

On March 7 at 6:54 p.m., Officer Travers arrested Joseph Forte, 54, of 149 Atlantic Ave. in Providence for an active Cranston Police arrest warrant for two counts of passing fraudulent checks. Georgi was arrested by Rhode Island State Police and turned over to Cranston Police Department before being arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

NO CONTACT

Following a call for service at 28 Harris Driftway St. on March 12 at 3:44 a.m., Officer Russell arrested Matthew Scott, 21, of 15 Elm Street, 2nd Floor for a violation of a no-contact order. Scott was then held as a bail violator.

OBSTRUCTION

Officer Travers arrested Nicholas Dovidio, 24, of 67 Ocean Ave. in Cranston on March 7 at about 9:34 p.m., for obstruction and two Superior Court Bench warrants as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street and Ridge Street.

POSSESSION

A motor vehicle stop at 226 Park Ave. on March 7 at 7:58 p.m. by Officer Paccassasi led to the arrest of Gregory Nill, 33, of 173 Windmill St. in Providence for possession of cocaine and suboxone. He was held for arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.

STOLEN GOODS

At 9:45 a.m. on March 11, Officer Lang arrested Matthew Watson, 33, of 224 Bokar St. in Warwick for receiving stolen goods and a bench warrant. He was held for arraignment. WARRANT

Officer Scotti arrested Fernando Silva, Jr., 34, of 18 Hines Farm Road on March 12 at 6:07 p.m. for an affidavit warrant from the Smithfield Police Department and Rhode Island State Police as a result of an attempt pick-up at the aforementioned address. He was then turned over to Smithfield Police Department.

Following a suspicious person investigation at 905 Cranston St. on March 11 at about 3:25 a.m., Officer Smith arrested Nelson Ramos, 28, of 199 Terrace Ave. in Cranston on an active Superior Court bench warrant. Ramos was later transported to the ACI.

On March 10 at 11:21 a.m., Officer McIntyre arrested Allen Spencer, 61, of 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston for a sexual offender address change warrant from the Cranston Police Department as a result of subject turning himself in.  He was held for arraignment.  

After an attempted pick-up at 30 Howard Ave. on March 9 at 7:58 p.m., Officers Langlais and Leonard arrested Juan Andrades, 46, of the above address for a Superior Court bench warrant. He was transported to the ACI.

On March 8 at 5:30 p.m. Officers Langlais and Leonard arrested Brian Remick, 59, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, RI, for a sex offender address change as the result of Providence Police arresting him on a Cranston warrant.  Officer Maione arrested Ruddy Figuereo, 25, of 76 Maynard St. in Pawtucket on March 8 at 6:41 p.m. for an arrest warrant out of the Lincoln Police Department. He was later transported to Lincoln.
