SEXUAL ASSAULT

On Jan. 23, police arrested Richard Rivera, 20, 118 Pond St., second floor, Cranston, on charges of first-degree sexual assault and kidnapping. Police say Rivera was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation.

DOMESTIC

On Jan. 23 at 7:32 a.m., police arrested Sabrina Ritter, 21, 158 Pleasant St., Cranston, on a charge of domestic vandalism. Police say Ritter turned herself in at the department’s headquarters.

On Jan. 24 at 2:06 a.m., police arrested Sharkym Brown, 23, 85 Colfax St., Providence, on charges of domestic breaking and entering, domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Jan. 24 at 9:52 p.m., police arrested Kyle Kroening, 33, 85 Hemlock Ave., Cranston, on charges of domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Jan. 24 at 10:13 p.m., police arrested Joshua Rotella, 23, 85 Hemlock Ave., Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

STOLEN VEHICLE

On Jan. 23 at approximately 3:50 p.m., police arrested Jashua Torres, 30 Candace St., Apt. 1, Providence, on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and driving without/expired license. Police say Torres was transferred from the custody of Rhode Island State Police.

LICENSE VIOLATIONS

On Jan. 23 at approximately 5:23 p.m., police arrested Angel Santiago, 31, 51 Fairway Drive, Cranston, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Santiago was arrested after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Oaklawn Avenue and Fairway Drive.

On Jan. 23 at approximately 9:40 p.m., police arrested James Mcnamara, 36, 74 Anthony Ave., first floor, Pawtucket, on a charge of driving without/expired license, third or subsequent offense. He was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court. Police say Mcnamara was arrested after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue.

ADDRESS CHANGE

On Jan. 24 at 3:12 p.m., police arrested Mark Wilson, 50, 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a charge of failure of report an address change as a sex offender. Police say Wilson turned himself in at police headquarters.

SHOPLIFTING

On Jan. 22 at 9 a.m., police arrested Stephen Mignacca, 33, 42 Coulters Road, Cranston, on two counts of shoplifting. On Jan. 23, police arrested Sara Fogarty, 28, 52 Pengrove Ave., first floor, Providence, on charges of shoplifting, driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent and vandalism/malicious injury to property.

VANDALISM

On Jan. 23 at 11:43 a.m., police arrested Alaina Chase, 27, 30 Boylston St., Warwick, on charges of disorderly conduct and vandalism. Police say Chase turned herself in at the department’s headquarters.

WARRANT

On Jan. 23 at 8:46 a.m., police took Lance Eugene Russell, 38, 85 Colfax St., Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Russell was arrested after a motor vehicle stop.
