CHILD ABUSE

On April 10 at 3:42 p.m., police arrested Rhina Ortiz, 40, 317 Webster Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, on a charge of second-degree child abuse.

MULTIPLE CHARGES

On April 4 at 9:25 p.m., police arrested Yoniel Perez, 21, 185 Vermont Ave., Providence, on charges of receiving stolen goods and driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Perez was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Route 10 and Garfield Avenue.

On April 11 at 6:32 p.m., police arrested Davon Silva, 22, 825 Plainfield St., Apt. C209, Providence, on charges of controlled substance conspiracy, possession of prohibited weapons other than firearms and three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police say Silva was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at Plainfield Street and Fletcher Avenue.

On April 11 at 7:15 p.m., police arrested Donald Lopes, 44, 458 Friendship St., first floor, Providence, on charges of possession of prohibited weapons other than firearms, resisting arrest and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Police say Lopes was arrested after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Wellington Avenue and Station Street.

DRUG CHARGES

On April 5 at 1 p.m., police arrested Kevin Santana, 23, 112 Saratoga Ave., Pawtucket, on charges of manufacturing/possession/delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy. Police say Santana was arrested after officers observed suspicious activity on Cranston Street.

On April 5 at 1 p.m., police arrested Derrin Quinn, 24, of 41 Kepler St., Pawtucket, on charges of manufacturing/possession/delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy. Police say Quinn was arrested after officers observed suspicious activity on Cranston Street.

On April 5 at 7:19 p.m., police arrested Gregory Nill, 35, 173 Windmill St., Providence, on two counts of manufacturing/delivery/possession of a controlled substance. Police say Nill was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Nill was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at Dyer Avenue and Cranston Street.

On April 10 at 1:01 a.m., police arrested Brian Xavier, 27, 50 Franklin Ave., Cranston, on three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Police say Xavier was arrested after officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Oaklawn Avenue.

On April 11 at 6:32 p.m., police arrested Tanya Barbosa, 36, 51 Winterberry Road, Saunderstown, on a charge of controlled substance conspiracy and three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police say Barbosa was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at Plainfield Street and Fletcher Avenue.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On April 4 at 9:42 p.m., police arrested Joseph Hubert, 35, 14 Pendleton St., third floor, Cranston, on a charge of domestic simple assault.

On April 5 at 5:30 p.m., police arrested Wendy Iglesias, 24, 13 Sprague Ave., second floor, Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On April 8 at 9:39 p.m., police arrested Garrick Wann, 32, 261 Glen Hills Drive, Cranston, on a charge of domestic assault on a person over 60, domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On April 10 at 2 a.m., police arrested Michael Jones, 28, 25 Queen St., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault/battery, domestic disorderly conduct, vandalism/malicious injury to property and domestic violation of a no-contact order.

On April 10 at 6:20 p.m., police arrested Paul Santos, 58, 110 Merrill St., first floor, East Providence, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. Police say Santos was transferred from the custody of East Providence Police.

On April 11 at 1:08 p.m., police arrested Richard Salvadore Roderick, 36, 36 Spofford Ave., Warwick, on charges of domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and vandalism. Police say Roderick turned himself in at the department’s headquarters.

NO-CONTACT VIOLATION

On April 5 at 9:09 p.m., police arrested Irving Rivera, 54, 587 Douglas Ave., Providence, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.

FALSE PRETENSES

On April 5 at 4:39 p.m., police arrested Roderic Point, 56, 533 High Meadow Court, Bristol, on charges of obtaining money under false pretenses, under $1,500, and resisting arrest. Police say Point was arrested after officers responded to a service call on Plainfield Pike.

SHOPLIFTING

On April 11 at 9 a.m., police arrested Luis A. Cruz, 42, 19 Clematis St., Providence, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Cruz was arrested at Third Division District Court.

DISORDERLY

On April 9 at 1:15 p.m., police arrested Luis Aceituno, 21, 72 Tell St., Providence, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Aceituno was arrested after officers responded to a reported disturbance on Cranston Street.

On April 10 at 3:15 p.m., police arrested Darryl Adams, 49, no address listed, on charges of vandalism and disorderly conduct. Police say Adams was arrested in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Cranston Street.

OBSTRUCTION

On April 9 at 11:30 a.m., police arrested Nyesha Adams, 19, 973 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, on a charge of obstruction. Police say Adams was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Garfield Avenue.

WARRANTS

On April 4 at 5:41 p.m., police took Michael Cocroft, 49, 16 Stratford Road, Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court. Police say Cocroft was arrested on Stratford Road.

On April 6 at 2:19 a.m., police took Collin Dy, 30, 102 Princess Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court. Police say Dy was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Niantic Avenue.

On April 6 at 10:12 p.m., police took Thomas Orlando, 26, 6 Raymond Drive, Johnston, into custody on a warrant issued from Johnston Police. Police say Orlando was arrested after officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Park Avenue.

On April 6 at 10:45 a.m., police took Raymond Harwood, 50, 1668 Elmwood Ave., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Harwood was arrested at the department’s headquarters.

On April 8 at 12:12 a.m., police took Christopher Delano, 33, 67 High Service Road, North Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Delano was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at Knollwood Avenue and Viking Road.

On April 12 at 12:50 p.m., police took Joel Morales, 33, 77 Mason Ave., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Morales was arrested at his residence.

FAILURE TO REPORT

On April 11 at 9 a.m., police arrested Rene Junior Correa, 38, 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on charge of failure to report an address change as a sex offender. Police say Correa was arrested at Third Division District Court.
