On Sept. 9 at 7:24 a.m., police arrested Jean Leger, 64, 219 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, on charges of second-degree child molestation and second-degree sexual assault.

CHILD NEGLECT

On Sept. 8 at 3:13 p.m., police arrested Heather Neal, 40, 81 School St., Central Falls, on a charge of cruelty/neglect of a child. Police say Neal was arrested on Garfield Avenue.

DRUG CHARGES

On Sept. 6 at 5:02 p.m., police arrested Nicholas Dimascio, 22, 305 Shady Valley Road, Coventry, on a charge of possession of fentanyl. Police say Dimascio was arrested on Atwood Avenue.

On Sept. 11 at 12:45 a.m., police arrested Stephen Pellegrino, 38, 1 Chestnut St., Apt. 906, Providence, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. Police say Pellegrino was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

On Sept. 11 at 5 p.m., police arrested Edwin A. Hernandez, 22, 76 Bolton St., Cranston, on charges of manufacturing/possession/delivery of fentanyl and maintaining a common substance, controlled substances. Police say Hernandez was arrested on Bolton Street.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On Sept. 9 at 10:21 a.m., police arrested Vincent Gonzalez, 29, 52 Roger Williams Circle, Cranston, on charges of domestic assault by strangulation, domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Sept. 9 at 4 p.m., police arrested Joseph Hubert, 36, 14 Pendleton St., third floor, Cranston, on charges of domestic assault and violation of no-contact order.

ASSAULT

On Sept. 10 at 10:53 p.m., police arrested Sheila New, 29, 18 Watercress Court, Coventry, on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police say New was arrested on Old Bald Hill Road.

WEAPONS CHARGES

On Sept. 12 at 8:01 a.m., police arrested James Mack, 36, 15 Lark Ave., Cranston, on charges of possession of prohibited weapons other than firearms and disorderly conduct. Police say Mack was arrested on Reservoir Avenue.

B&E

On Sept. 11 at 6:26 a.m., police arrested Mark Naylor, 58, no address listed, on charges of breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods. Police say Naylor was arrested on Cranston Street.

SHOPLIFTING

On Sept. 6 at 1:06 p.m., police arrested Brandi Rezendez, 31, 380 Farmington Ave., Cranston, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Rezendez was arrested on Reservoir Avenue.

On Sept. 6 at 7:07 p.m., police arrested Melynda Crispi, 31, 47 Pensacola St., Warwick, on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy. Police say Crispi was arrested on Warwick Avenue.

On Sept. 6 at 7:07 p.m., police arrested Brittany Reardon, 31, 47 Pensacola St., Warwick, on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy. Police say Reardon was arrested on Warwick Avenue.

On Sept. 11 at 1:21 a.m., police arrested Virgen Fernandez, 33, 85 Lawrence St., Cranston, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Fernandez was transferred from the custody of Providence police.

DISORDERLY

On Sept. 6 at 3:35 p.m., police arrested Joshua Mello, 44, 120 Central St., Warwick, on charges of obstruction of justice, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police say Mello was arrested on Mayberry Street.

On Sept. 10 at 12:25 p.m., police arrested a juvenile on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say the juvenile was arrested on Gansett Avenue.

On Sept. 10 at 3:05 p.m., police arrested two juveniles on charges of disorderly conduct. Police say the juveniles were arrested on Metropolitan Avenue.

WARRANTS

On Sept. 9 at 12:30 p.m., police took Michael Creighton, 36, 1317 Cranston St., Apt. 3, Cranston, on a bench warrant issued from Family Court. Police say Creighton was arrested on Park Avenue.

On Sept. 11 at 6:01 p.m., police took Jamarcus Styles, 22, Atlanta, Georgia, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Styles was arrested on Old Spring Avenue.

On Sept. 12 at 10:13 a.m., police took Dajuan Ives, 26, 139 Farmington Ave., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Ives was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Park Avenue.
