Cranston Hall of Fame induction ceremony to be held Oct. 14

The 41ST induction ceremony and dinner banquet for the Cranston Hall of Fame Foundation will take place Friday, October 14 at Alpine Country Club. The ceremony and dinner are open to the general public. Tickets are $55 per person and may be obtained by contacting Susan Soscia of the Cranston Hall of Fame Foundation at sue@alphaphysicaltherapy.com or online at Eventbrite at https://eventbrite.com/e/city-of-cranston-hall-of-fame-dinner-tickets-399274419537. Reservations are required by Oct. 9; no tickets will be sold at the door.

The inductees for the Hall of Fame Class of 2022, as graduates of the Cranston Public School District, have distinguished themselves on a city, state, regional and/or national level in their chosen field of endeavor in the fields of law, education, law enforcement, cybersecurity and community service. They are:

Attorney Nicole Benjamin of Bristol, RI; Class of 1999, Cranston High School West

Paul Ciccarelli of Venice, FL; Class of 1973, Cranston High School West

Honorable Paul DiMaio of Johnston, RI: Class of 1960, Cranston High School East

Michael Matracia of Cranston, RI; Class of 1984, Cranston High School East

Stephen Scappaticci of Cranston, RI; Class of 1994, Cranston High School West

“The Cranston Hall of Fame dinner and induction is a highlight of the Cranston social season, an event that brings many families and old friends together for a memorable experience,” noted Cindy Soccio, Esq., Foundation President.  “This is one community event that you do not want to miss!”

For more than four decades the Cranston Hall of Fame has proudly recognized graduates of the Cranston Public School System representing a wide array of businesses, professions and public service.
