Deborah Ellen Bradshaw, 64, of Pascoag, RI passed away on Feb 22nd after a life-long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.

Born in Providence, the daughter of John D. Bradshaw III and Marilyn Milan Bradshaw. She lived in East Greenwich until her graduation from EGHS and then moved to Tempe Arizona to attend Arizona State University and the warm weather. Debi was an accomplished professional photographer, artist and music lover with a heart of gold. Eventually she returned to RI in 2002 due her progressing illness. She resided at Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag, RI since 2004 where she became the President of the Patients for Progress and Advocate for Patient’s Rights until her death.

Deborah is survived by both of her parents, of Roberts Health Centre in North Kingstown, her sister, Sharon Bradshaw Hanson of West Warwick, her nephew and godson, Matthew D. Hanson of Johnston, her nephew Nicholas J. Bradshaw of West Warwick, several cousins including Bonita Lombardi and Cheryl Campbell of North Kingstown and her best friend, Jamie Whalen Felice.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Zambarano Hospital, especially on 2 North who treated her with the utmost respect, care and sensitivity to her condition. They truly were a part of her family. The memorial service is private.
