Going Glam
Going glam for Project Undercover
GLAM DAY: Salon Lux, located at 995 Pontiac Avenue, opened their doors and hearts to raise funds for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation and collected donations of new socks and underwear for Project Undercover last Sunday. Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., the salon offered all haircuts for $10, as well as 50 percent off all other hair services including color and highlights. Also offered at the daylong event were seated chair massage by Be Healthy and Fit, Reiki treatments by First Spiritualist Church, Spirit and Physic Medium readings and tarot card readings. Refreshments and complementary make-up applications were also available. Pictured is hairstylist Kristen Blanchette and customer Heidi Morgan.

PROJECT UNDERCOVER: During their Glam Day at Salon Lux, collections for new underwear, diapers and socks were a focal point of the day to benefit Project Undercover. Project Undercover fills the basic needs of children such as new socks, underwear and diapers that are needed throughout the community. Pictured next to the collection basket is Salon Lux owner Cindy Wilson.
