The students in the Project Respect club at Bain recently hosted their annual International Night, an event that celebrates the more than 30 diverse ethnic cultures in the Bain community.
The show, held in the auditorium, consisted of many different ethnic performances including a Lion Dance by the Rhode Island Kung Fu Club and a selection of Italian songs performed on the accordion by Michael Meresi from Ambrosianni, as well as a fashion show, followed by a tasting of ethnic foods donated from area restaurants including: Hong Kong Buffet, China Jade, Jacky's Galaxie of Johnston, El Tapatio Family Mexican Restaurant, Ichiban Korean and Japanese Cuisine, Marchetti's, Apsara, Taste of India and the Career and Technical Center.
