Based on donor feedback, the Monday hours for the Warwick Blood and Platelet Donation Center at 615 Greenwich Ave, will now be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nicole Pineault, director of Donor Resources said, "Scheduling late afternoon and early evening slots on Mondays at the Warwick Donor Center was difficult, as donors seem to prefer to give in the mornings and earlier in the day on Mondays. We are changing the Monday hours to allow for more life-saving donations when it's most convenient for people in that area and on that day."
"Saving lives is a great way to start the week," Pineault adds, "and for those who prefer evenings, the center is still open until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we welcome donors right up until closing time."
