Dementia Friendly Community Series

Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m.Join us on our journey as we explore the faces of memory loss. The series begins July 9 with “Memory Loss: The Basics,” to be presented by Doreen Montaqulia, a certified dementia practitioner and social worker with Cranston Adult Day Services. The program will focus on age-related memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

The series will continue with “Medically Caused Dementia” on July 23, followed by “Dementia & Hearing Loss” on Aug. 6 and “A Caregiver’s Journey” on Aug. 20.

Support for the Dementia Friendly Community Series is provided by a grant from Tufts Health Plan Foundation.

Reminisce Group: Memories at the Senior Center

Friday, July 12 at 9:30 a.m.We’ll be taking a trip down memory lane and sharing memories of our very own Cranston Senior Center. We will have photos and old newspaper articles. Be sure to bring along your memories and any photos or articles you may have.
