NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing on the following proposed Ordinances will be held before the Ordinance Committee on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. City Council Chambers, 869 Park Avenue, Cranston, R.I. pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter.

Complete copies of proposed Ordinances are available for public review at the City Clerk’s Office, and the Cranston Central Library and the City’s website cranstonri.com under calendar by clicking on the meeting date.

“Individuals requesting interpreter services for the dear or hard of hearing must notify the City Clerk’s Office at 461-1000 ext. 3197 seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date.”

PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 07-18-01 IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 10.32 OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” (Vallone Road and Chester Avenue-3 way stop)

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

SECTION 1. Title 10.32.030 of the Code of the City of Cranston, 2005 entitled ”Multi-Way Stop Intersections Enumerated” is hereby amended by adding the following:

Vallone Road and Chester Avenue- 3 way stop

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 07-18-02 IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 10.32 OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” (Bay View and Dennis 4way stop)

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

SECTION 1. Title 10.32.020 of the Code of the City of Cranston, 2005 entitled ”Stop Intersections Enumerated” is hereby amended by deleting the following:

(Bay View Avenue at its intersection with Dennis Avenue)

SECTION 2. Title 10.32.030 of the Code of the City of Cranston, 2005 entitled ”Multi-Way Stop Intersections Enumerated” is hereby amended by adding the following:

Bay View Avenue and Dennis Avenue - 4way stop

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 7-18-03 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32.040 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC”

(Tacoma Atwood No Parking )

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

Section 1. Chapter 10.32.040 entitled ”No Parking on Certain Streets Generally” is hereby amended by deleting following:

[Tacoma Street, northwest side, from Atwood Avenue southwesterly for a distance of two hundred forty five (245) feet]

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 7-18-04 N AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32.280 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC”

(Tiffany Atwood No Parking )

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

Section 1. Chapter 10.32.280 entitled ”No Parking-Between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – Weekdays” is hereby amended as follows:

Tiffany Street, [both sides], northwest side, from Atwood Avenue southwesterly for a distance of two hundred forty (240) feet.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.
