NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing on the following proposed Ordinances No 7-18-03 and 7-18-04 as amended will be held before the City Council on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 7:00 pm., Council Chamber, 869 Park Avenue Cranston, R.I. pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter.

“Individuals requesting interpreter services for the deaf or hard of hearing must notify the City Clerk’s Office at 461-1000 ext. 3197 seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date.”

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 7-18-03 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32.040 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” (Tacoma Atwood No Parking)
*As amended in Committee 8/16/2018.
It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 10.32.040 entitled “No Parking on Certain Streets Generally” is hereby amended by deleting following:
[Tacoma Street, northwest side, from Atwood Avenue southwesterly for a distance of two hundred forty five (245) feet]
*And chapter 10.32 is further amended by adding the following new section:
10.32.401 Ten (10) minute parking-For the purpose of drop-off and pick-up of children in attendance at educational and/or childcare facilities.
No vehicle shall remain standing for any one consecutive period of time longer than ten (10) minutes within or upon the following streets or highways or parts thereof:
Tacoma Street, northwest side, from a point thirty (30) feet southwesterly of Atwood Avenue, southwesterly for a distance of one hundred and forty (140) feet.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 7-18-04 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32.280 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” (Tiffany Atwood No Parking)
*As amended in Committee 8/16/2018.
It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 10.32.280 entitled ”No Parking-Between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – Weekdays” is hereby amended as follows:
Tiffany Street, [both sides], northwest side, from Atwood Avenue southwesterly for a distance of two hundred forty (240) feet.
*And Chapter 10.32 is further amended by adding the following new section:
10.32.401 Ten (10) minute parking-For the purpose of drop-off and pick-up of children in attendance at educational and/or childcare facilities.
No vehicle shall remain standing for any one consecutive period of time longer than ten (10) minutes within or upon the following streets or highways or parts thereof:
Tiffany Street, southeast side, from a point thirty (30) feet southwesterly of Atwood Avenue, southwesterly for a distance of one hundred and forth (140) feet.
