before the Finance Committee on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 869 Park

Avenue, Cranston, RI. pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter.

“Individuals requesting interpreter services for the deaf or hard of hearing must notify the City Clerk’s Office at 461-1000 ext. 3197 seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date.”

PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO.

1-19-03 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 2, Chapter 2.04, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005,

ENTITLED “MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL” (Filming of Meetings)

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

Section 1. Title 2, Chapter 2.04 entitled “Mayor and City Council” is hereby amended by adding the following new section:

2.04.070 Filming of Meetings

All City Council meetings, City Council Committee meetings, and Planning Commission meetings, with the exception of executive sessions, shall be filmed and made available online to the public.

Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.
