ORDINANCE NO. 2019-6 AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 10.32.350 OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC – No Parking On Certain Streets – Near Schools When School In Session” (Duckworth St., Gansett Ave., Trainor St., Packard St.)

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

SECTION 1. Title 10.32.350 of the Code of the City of Cranston, entitled “No parking on certain streets—Near schools when school in session” is hereby amended as follows:

D. Hugh B. Bain School. Between the hours of *8:00 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., on days when the Hugh B. Bain School is in session, no vehicle shall remain standing for any period of time upon the following streets:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall *not take effect upon its final adoption. until adequate notification is given to parents and guardians of students of Bain Middle School.

ORDINANCE NO. 2019-7 IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 10.32.401 OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC – Ten Minute Parking ” (Trainor St., Gansett Ave. Bain Ten Minute Parking)

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

SECTION 1. Title 10.32.401 of the Code of the City of Cranston, entitled “Ten (10 minute parking – For the purpose of drop-off and pick-up of children in attendance at educational and/or childcare facilities is hereby amended by adding the following:

Trainor street, southerly side, from Gansett Avenue westerly to the end of the Hugh B. Bain school property between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. when school is in session.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall *not take effect upon its final adoption. until adequate notification is given to parents and guardians of students of Bain Middle School.

ORDINANCE NO. 2019-8 IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 10.12.270 OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” (Duckworth St., Gansett Ave. and Oak St. – One-Way Traffic Between Certain Hours)

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

SECTION 1. Title 10.12.270 of the Code of the City of Cranston, Entitled “One-way traffic on certain streets between certain hours”is hereby amended by adding the following new Sub-Section:

R. Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the days when Hugh B. Bain School is in session, vehicular traffic shall move in the following direction on the following streets:

Duckworth Street, westerly, from Gansett Avenue to Oak Street.

Trainor Street, easterly, from Oak Street to Gansett Avenue

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall *not take effect upon its final adoption. until adequate notification is given to parents and guardians of students of Bain Middle School.
