ASSAULT

As the result of a disturbance at 49 B St. on Jan. 31 at 11:45 p.m., Officers Burns and Rocchio arrested Domenic Volpi, 34, of 49 B St. #1 in Cranston for two counts of felony assault with a dangerous weapon/substance, three counts of simple assault/battery, domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property, domestic disorderly conduct, resisting legal or illegal arrest, and reckless driving/eluding officer with a motor vehicle in a high speed pursuit. He was held overnight awaiting arraignment by Justice of the Peace.

DISORDERLY

On Feb. 2 at approximately 11:03 p.m., Officer Cragin arrested Isa Abdul Karim, 50, of 15 Boston St. in Coventry for disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance on a RIPTA bus in the area of 1012 Oaklawn Ave. He was held for arraignment as a probation violator. 

Officer Smith arrested Sabrina Reyes, 27, of 38 Depot St. in N. Attleboro, MA on Feb. 1 at 5:54 p.m. for simple assault/battery and disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of the female turning herself in for an incident that occurred on Jan. 31 at 305 Scituate Ave.  He was held awaiting arraignment at the Third District Court.

POSSESSION

The Special Investigations Unit arrested Henry E. Recinos, 39, of 139 Farmington Avenue Apt. #11 in Cranston on February 2 at 1:24 p.m. for one count of manufacturing /possession /delivery of a Schedule I/II drug (crack cocaine), one count of manufacturing /possession /delivery of a Schedule I/II drug (cocaine), and one count of resisting legal or illegal arrest as a result of observed narcotics trafficking by narcotics detectives during surveillance at multiple locations. Recinos was then held for arraignment. PROTECTIVE ORDER

On Feb. 3 at 4:15 p.m., Officer Brown arrested Scott McMahon, 48, of 36 Batcheller Ave. in Cranston for violation of a protective order. His arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. McMahon was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Dustin Griffin, 44, of 15 Meeting St. in Newport was arrested on February 1 at approximately 6:10 p.m. for violation of a no contact order. The arrest was the result of a warrant pickup at the Newport police headquarters. Griffin was awaiting arraignment as a probation violator at the time.

SHOPLIFTING

Officer Leonard arrested Phillip Coulombe, 41, of 12 Manchester St. in Pawtucket on Feb. 3 at 7:36 p.m. for felony shoplifting, resisting legal or illegal arrest, and as a fugitive from justice out of Attleboro, MA. His arrest is the result of a call for service at the Stop and Shop on 204 Garfield Ave. Coulombe was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

Tatiana Diaz, 36, of 131 Ruggles St. in Providence was arrested on Feb. 2 at approximately 4:37 p.m. by Officer Davis for driving on a suspended license-third offense or greater. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1265 Reservoir Ave. Diaz was issued a District Court notice to appear.

WARRANT

On Feb. 2 at approx. 12:14 p.m., Officer Merry arrested Ronald Duffy, 60, of 20 Lincoln Ave. in East Providence, for an outstanding Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a call for a man down in the area of Park Ave. and Peerless St. Duffy was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.  Officers Burns and Quaranto arrested Germaine Bruce, 24, of 6 Mcteers Ct. in West Warwick for driving on a suspended license, fifth offense and an outstanding Sixth District Court bench warrant on Feb. 2 at approximately 3:15 a.m. The arrest was the result of a disabled motor vehicle in the area of Route 295 south at Route 37 east. He was later transported to the ACI Intake.
