ASSAULT

Gino Rossi, 22, of 68 Wayland Ave. in Cranston was arrested on May 11 by Officer Lavey for domestic felony assault, domestic failure to relinquish the telephone, and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 28 Williams Ave.Rossi was then held for arraignment.

Officer Clifford arrested Jefferson Navas, 20, of 32 Moorefield St. Apt # 1 in Providence on May 10 at 10:34 a.m. for simple assault and disorderly conduct. His arrest is the result of a call for service at the intersection of Park Ave. and Dyer Ave. He was then held awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

On May 10 at 10:34 a.m. Officer Clifford arrested Alexander Rivera, 40, of 159 Fourth St. in Providence for simple assault, vandalism, and disorderly conduct. Her arrest is the result of a call for service at the intersection of Park Ave. and Dyer Ave. She was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

Around 6:03 p.m. on May 8,  Officers Cragin and A. Hardy arrested Stephen Silva, 35, of 765 Park Ave. # 2A in Cranston for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. He was then arraigned by a Justice of the Peace. 

DISORDERLY

As a result of a call for a large disturbance at 25 Park View Blvd.  at the Park View Field on May 10 at approximately 9:07 p.m. Officers Carroll and Schaffran arrested Lynne Trudel, 35, of 118 Cottage St. in Woonsocket for disorderly conduct. Also arrested was Anthony Deangelis, 60, 102 Norwood Ave. in Cranston for disorderly conduct. Both were arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Officers A. Hardy and Reis arrested David Mazzulla, 50, of 1 Baker St. in Johnston on May 11 at approximately 8:18 p.m.  for driving under the influence first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test, second offense. The arrest was the result of a call for an accident in the area of 21 Cleveland Ave.

Following a call for an erratic operator which was initiated by State Police on RT 10 on May 10 at approximately 7:01 p.m. Officer Reis arrested Aida Barreira, 44, of 59 Benjamin St. Apt. 3 in Fall River for driving under the influence first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was later arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

NO CONTACT

On May 9 at approximately 12:12 a.m., Officers Lavey and Leclair arrested Jessie Wilkerson, 26, of 472 Public St. in Providence for a violation of a no contact order third offense, receiving stolen goods, driving without/expired-license, and an outstanding Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of RT 10 South. He was held for arraignment as a bail violator.

OBSTRUCTION

On May 10 at approximately 9:22 p.m.. Officer Murray arrested Benardino McGuy, 18, of 92 Bowdoin St. in Providence for obstructing an officer in execution of duty, simple assault, and disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the Royal Buffet at 272 Garfield Ave. He was then arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

POSSESSION

As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Atwood Ave. and Fletcher Ave. on May 9 at approximately 12:49 a.m., Officers O’Malley and Mastrati arrested Christopher Williamson, 36, of 119 Norton Ave. in Cranston for possession of a schedule I-V drug (crack-cocaine). He was held as a bail violator.

On May 8 at approximately 8:54 p.m., Officer Robbins arrested William Houston, 29, of 37 Bowers St. Apt. 3 in Pawtucket for Possession of a schedule I-V drug and possession of marijuana first offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the Sunoco lot on 905 Cranston St. He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace. SEX OFFENDER

Michael Tardie, 34, of 3 Birchview Dr. in Cranston was arrested on May 10 at approximately 7:23 p.m. by Officer Langlais for a sexual offender address change. The arrest was the result of a pickup on an arrest and affidavit warrant at State Police Wickford Barracks. He was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator.

STOLEN GOODS

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on May 8, Officers Henry and Collado arrested Earl Mitchell, 25, of 135 Lewiston St. in Warwick for receiving stolen goods, obstruction of justice, driving on a suspended license third or greater offense, and an outstanding Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Park Ave. and River St. He was held for morning arraignment.

TAMPERING

On May 8 at 2:46 a.m. Officer Mastrati arrested Dante Allen Harwood, 50, of 575 Dyer Ave. #I-148 in Cranston for injuring or tampering with vehicles. His arrest is the result of a call for suspicious activity at 135 Puritan Ave. and a subsequent investigation. He was held for arraignment at the Third District Court.

WARRANTS

On May 13 at 10:39 a.m. Officer Burke arrested Jermaine Cherry, 41, 11 Avon St. in Pawtucket for a Superior Court full bench warrant. His arrest is the result of a motor vehicle stop on Sockanosset Cross Rd. Cherry was later transported to the ACI.

Officer Comella arrested Nathan Perreault, 20, of 151 Franklin Ave. in Cranston on May 10 at 11:36 a.m. for a warrant of arrest on an affidavit out of the Providence Police Department. His arrest is the result of call for service on Oak St., and he was turned over to Providence Police.
