DUI

On Dec. 27 at 11:37 p.m., police arrested Paige Stewart, 30, 30 Robinlyn Drive, Cranston, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Stewart was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Phenix Avenue.

On Jan. 1 at 1:33 a.m., police arrested Jacob Horovitz, 21, 111 Stone Drive, Cranston, on charges of driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police say Horovitz was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop at Atwood Avenue and Randall Street.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On Dec. 30 at 1:14 p.m., police arrested Christopher Garcia, 21, 35 Covell St., Apt. 1, Providence, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Dec. 31 at 10:01 a.m., police arrested Jason Raposa, 43, 92 Blackamore Ave., Cranston, on charges of domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and domestic refusal to relinquish telephone.

WEAPONS CHARGES

On Jan. 1 at 4:46 p.m., police arrested Adonys Reyes, 18, 89 Clarence St., Providence, on charges of possession of prohibited weapons Other than Firearms and Disorderly Conduct. Police say Reyes was arrested as a result of a disturbance call on Garfield Avenue.

LARCENY

On Dec. 27 at 4:49 p.m., police arrested Eugene Gibbs, 25, 15 Venice St., Providence, on a charge of larceny under $1,500. Police say Gibbs was arrested at the department’s headquarters.

SHOPLIFTING

On Dec. 29 at 4:50 p.m., police arrested Alexander Generali, 76, 19 Lincoln Ave., Cranston, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Generali was arrested as a result of a call for service on Pontiac Avenue.

On Dec. 31 at 2:55 p.m., police arrested Theadore Perry, 49, 64 Urban Ave., Apt. 27, North Providence, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Perry was arrested as a result of a call for service on Garfield Avenue.

TRESPASSING

On Dec. 28 at 5:55 p.m., police arrested Joseph Amaral, 54, 57 Terrace Ave., Providence, on a charge of willful trespassing. Police say Amaral was arrested as a result of a call for service on Briggs Street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On Dec. 31 at 8:14 a.m., police arrested Howard Inman, 53, 85 Briggs St., Apt. 1107, Cranston, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Inman was arrested on Briggs Street.

On Jan. 1 at 4:46 p.m., police arrested David Berges Taveras, 19, 67 Mount Pleasant Ave., Apt. 1, Providence, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Taveras was arrested as a result of a disturbance call on Garfield Avenue.

FAILURE TO REPORT

On Dec. 30 at 1:14 p.m., police arrested Allen Spencer, 64, 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a charge of failure to report an address change as a sex offender. Police say Spencer was arrested at Superior Court.

WARRANTS

On Dec. 28 at 2:02 a.m., police took Rafael Pascual Pena, 28, 38 Hanover St., Apt. 2, Providence, into custody on a warrant issued from Providence Police. Police say Pena was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Garfield Avenue.

On Dec. 31 at 11:33 p.m., police took Thomas Zarra, 28, 50 Starr St., Johnston, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Johnston Police. Police say Zarra was arrested at Plainfield Pike and Atwood Avenue.

On Jan. 1 at 4:44 p.m., police took Michael R. Chiaverini, 47, 47 Highland Ave., Apt. 803, Johnston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Chiaverini was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street.
