On May 25, Defenders of Animals hosted a Community Art Show to benefit its work. The event was organized by curator Margy Feldhuhn and was held at the Sprague Mansion. It featured donated pieces from more than 30 local artists, and more than 100 people were in attendance. More than $6,300 was raised to help provide medical care for animals.
