Thirty-two members of Cranston High School’s class of 1954 gathered at Cucina Rustica for their 65th reunion on Sunday, Sept. 16. Those in attendance had a chance to catch up and remember classmates who have passed away.
Ann Volatile, co-chair of the reunion, said she had been in contact with classmates from as far away as New Hampshire, Washington State and California. While some were unable to attend, she said the event was a success.
“I am so happy with the turnout,” she said. “People are having a great time. It really couldn't have gone any better.”
The classmates in attendance were June Altieri Santopietro, Carol Atkins Dearlove, Harry Bagian, Richard Benson, Dolores Castelli DelSesto, Lorraine Chiello Mansolillo, Joseph Ciacciarelli, Virginia Conte Pacheco, Elaine DeMaio Palumbo, Frank DiLanna, Anthony DiMaio, James Ferro, Anthony Fuzek, Kenneth Kurze, Joseph Marriott, Stephen Palmer, Harold Peterson, Elaine Ritz Cioe, Angela Rossi Fillipone, Ann Ruggieri Manni, Bernice Toti Pasquazzi, Gina Vaccaro Giorgianni, Shirley Voccio Santurri, Ann Volatile, Joan Wasdword Duggan, Walter Wolfe, Marie Zoglio Archetto, Sandra Palmieri Rawcliffe, Marie Sinapi DeAngelis, Marion Pansera Crudale, Eleanor Gallo Sammartino and Eileen O’Brien Morrison.
