On April 27, the Cranston YMCA held its annual Healthy Kids Day, inviting the community to visit vendor tables and see the services available to members. Children enjoyed a healthy snack tasting, arts and crafts, a performance by Mastery Martial Arts of Cranston and a K-9 demonstration by Cranston Police Officer Shane O’Donnell and his partner, Blesk. There were also two fire trucks from the Cranston Fire Department and representatives from the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
