The May breakfast tradition dates back to the 1860s and the Old Quaker Meeting House, which is now the site of the Oak Lawn Community Baptist Church. The tradition continued on May 1 as church parishioners served hundreds of visitors for this year’s May Breakfast event. Proceeds from the gathering will support the church’s ministries and mission.
