The MS Dream Center held its first Saturday program on April 6 at the Peter Pastore Youth Center, located at 155 Gansett Ave.
The event was scheduled to accommodate those with multiple sclerosis and their loved ones who work or would otherwise not be able to attend weekday sessions. An enthusiastic group attended and participated in Chair Zumba with Michelle Calise and then enjoyed socializing with one another as refreshments were served.
This was the first of three-monthly Saturday programs to measure the interest in continuing the weekend sessions. The next Saturday program will be held May 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature Chair Yoga with Michelle Tremont.
Transportation is available and can be arranged by contacting donna@msdreamcenter.org.
