To the Editor:
Thanks to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse for his scholarly and amazing interrogation of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh during the Senate hearing on the 27th. It was astounding!
His inquiry, delving into sophomoric musings found in a high school yearbook, originating either with the editor or student Kavanaugh, exhibited the senator's brilliance at uncovering crime. Exceeding all previous cross-examination and legislative accomplishments, Whitehouse finally reached the pinnacle of his humorless career!
That's not all. Whitehouse has ensured that Rhode Island, on the map again, will forevermore be known as the Small State in a Sad State.
