Santa will arrive this Saturday at Garden City by horse-drawn wagon at 11 a.m. He will be on site until 1 p.m. and available for free visits. There will also be free face painting, crafts, photos with the strolling snowman as well as professional photos available for purchase. Legal Sea Foods chowder van will be providing complimentary chowder. The festivities will be followed by holiday strolls, Santa’s cabin visits, and even breakfast with the man in the red suit.

Santa will be in his cabin every day through Tuesday, December 24 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A link is available on the Garden City Center website to book a fast pass appointment in order to skip the line. Strolls will be held Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7, and will take place between 6 and 8 pm. Visitors can expect to see the carolers, ice carving, a walking snowman, the Legal Sea Food chowder van (Dec. 7 only), and of course, Santa Claus. Performances will feature Steel Drum music, a capella singing from the Brown Derbies (from Brown University), The Christmas Present Carolers, Old English Carolers, Wheeler School Bell Ringers, Ten 31 Productions snowman, Hope Highland Chorus, and Cirque de Light. Check the Garden City Center website for performance details.

Breakfast with Santa will be held at Newport Creamery Sunday, December 8 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. No reservations necessary but feel free to bring your cameras and wish lists.
